The song benefits from the backing chorus more than any other shanty. This bonafide classic had to make an appearance. 'What will we do with the drunken sailor?' With an entrancing 3/4 time signature and lyrics about gearing up to sail, it's the quintessential shanty for any pirate's songbook. It's almost exactly what you'd expect a pirate sea shanty to be. In traditional style, one singer acts as the lead while the remaining crew sing in response or as part of a chorus, throwing in the occasional 'hup' or 'whey' to liven up the song. All of the shanties are recorded with a full cast of 'pirates'. Much like in Odyssey, you can have your shipmates sing to you as you explore, adding beautifully to the maritime atmosphere.
